Misthoos Cafe

We are over at 145 Tirandaaz Road. If you know the area, it’s a spot where people are always moving past on their way to work or classes. Misthoos Cafe started out because we wanted a place where people could just get something to eat without any fuss. The kitchen is usually busy from early in the morning, getting things ready for the day. We spend a lot of time prepping ingredients and making sure the counters are clean. It’s a small place, so it can get a bit cramped when the lunch rush starts, but we manage. You’ll usually hear the sound of the stove and the chatter of customers. It isn't some high-end dining experience; it’s just a local cafe where the food is simple and the service is straightforward. We have our regulars who come in every day for the same thing, and we’ve gotten to know their names and what they like. Sometimes the fridge acts up or we run out of something unexpectedly, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small food business. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to serve decent meals and keep the place running. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing people enjoy what we’ve made. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next order that comes through the door.
