Miracle Overseas

Our office is located over in Malad East along Arunachal Samta Road. It is a busy part of the suburb and there is always something going on outside the window. We spend most of our time on the phone or dealing with stacks of paperwork on the desks. The building isn't brand new, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb when it is humid outside. We focus on the overseas work, so there are always clocks showing different times and files labeled with places far away. The room is often full of the sound of the ceiling fan clicking and people talking over each other to get things done before the shipping deadlines. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. People just walk straight into where we are working. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, which gives us a chance to grab tea from the stall downstairs. Malad has a lot of traffic, especially in the evenings, so we usually try to finish up before the rush gets too bad. It is a lot of back and forth with documents and making sure everything is lined up right for the transport. We have been on Samta Road for a while and the local chai wallah knows exactly how we like our tea. It is just a regular workplace where we keep busy and try to stay organized among all the boxes and files.
