Minerva Jewellers Steel Emporium

Vikhroli West is where we've been for a while now, specifically tucked into Shop No 2 at Deshmukh Chawl. If you know where the Madina Masjid is on M T Street, then you basically know where we are because we’re right near there. It’s a busy little spot and things can get a bit loud outside with the traffic and people walking by all day. We deal with jewelry and a lot of steel items too, hence the name Minerva Jewellers Steel Emporium. It’s a bit of an odd mix to some people, but it works for the folks around here who need something for their kitchen or maybe a small gold piece for a family thing. The shop isn't huge, so things are stacked pretty close together on the shelves. My family has been doing this kind of work for years, just handling the daily customers who drop in after work or while they’re out doing their marketing. We spend most of our mornings just dusting the steel pots and making sure the glass cases for the jewelry look okay. It's not a fancy place with air conditioning and big sofas, but we have a couple of stools if someone needs to sit down for a minute. Most of the time, it’s just us talking to neighbors or helping someone pick out a gift. Sometimes we run out of space for new stock, but we manage somehow by rearranging the boxes.
