Microworld Computers

Microworld Computers is based at Gandhi Gram 8. It is a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, which is nice when you are trying to concentrate on something tricky. The office itself is just a few rooms where we have set up our workstations. We have got some old metal shelves that hold all the spare parts and manuals we have collected over the years. The floor is tiled and stays relatively cool even when it is boiling outside. There is a small kitchenette in the back where the kettle is almost always boiling because we drink a lot of chai throughout the day. You can hear the neighborhood kids playing outside in the afternoons, which adds a bit of life to the place. We do not have a formal reception area or anything, so if someone walks in, they just come right up to the desk. The plants on the windowsill are looking a bit sad because we forget to water them sometimes when the work piles up. We keep a fairly loose schedule, though we try to be in by nine every day. It is the kind of place where you can find a stray screwdriver in almost every drawer. We just keep things simple and do what needs to be done without any extra fluff or fancy talk. It is a decent place to spend the day and the commute isn't too bad for most of us.
