Micronic Systems

It's pretty crowded down here in Zaveri Bazar. We've been at Shop No. 7 in Building 19 for a while now. Most people know the Tell Gally area as being mostly jewelry shops, but we handle the electronics side of things. It gets loud outside with all the foot traffic on Shaikh Memon Street, but we just keep our heads down and get the work done. The shop isn't huge, but we make use of every inch. Usually, it’s just one or two of us behind the counter, dealing with whatever comes through the door. Sometimes it’s repairs, sometimes it’s people looking for parts they can’t find anywhere else. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit, but the hustle stays the same. If you’re coming by, look for the old building near the corner. It's easier to walk than drive, obviously. We don't really have a big fancy sign or anything, just the name above the door. Most of our regulars are just people from the nearby offices or other shop owners who need a hand with their systems. We drink a lot of chai and talk to the neighbors while we wait for deliveries to show up. It's a simple setup. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we're fixing one. Life in the market is fast, but we've got our own pace here inside. There are stacks of old motherboards in the corner that we might never use, but it feels wrong to throw them out. That's just how we operate.
