Our office is in the Ionic building on Lala Nigam Road, which is down in the Colaba area. It’s a nice part of Mumbai, though it gets a bit crowded with tourists near the Gateway. We are on the first floor in unit B-5. Working in logistics here is a bit different than being in the industrial zones. The building is old and has that classic South Mumbai feel to it. We spend most of our time coordinating shipments and making sure the logistics side of things is running smoothly. It’s mostly office work—lots of emails, lots of phone calls, and keeping track of where the trucks and ships are. We don't have a very large team, so everyone knows what the others are doing. Sometimes the sea breeze comes in through the windows, which is a nice change from the usual city air. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except for when things get busy with a big shipment. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do our jobs, and go home. Most of us have been working in this area for a long time, so we’re used to the pace of life here. It’s a steady kind of business, and we just keep things moving as best as we can every day.
