Metallics & Chemicals Bv is tucked away in Das Chambers on Dalal Street. If you’ve ever been to the Fort area, you know it’s full of old buildings and history. Our office at number 25 is right in the thick of it. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite some time now, handling the trade of metals and various chemical products. It’s a busy spot, especially with the stock exchange nearby, so there’s always a lot of energy in the air. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, with high ceilings and some wooden furniture that’s seen better days, but it works for us. We spend our days tracking prices and making sure shipments are moving across the water or overland. It’s a lot of logistical coordination. We don't have a flashy website or big billboards. Most of our connections are old-school, built over years of doing business in the city. The stairs in the building can be a workout if the lift is slow, but we don’t mind. It feels like a real workplace where actual things happen. We deal with bulk orders mostly, so there’s always a lot of paperwork to file and verify. It’s just a group of us who know the market and try to stay ahead of the curve without making a big deal out of it. We take our tea breaks together and talk about the latest news on the street. It’s a good way to spend the work week in a historic part of town.
