Metal Tubes

Metal Tubes is a small shop located at No. 1-A on the ground floor of Plot No. 216. We are in the Dinath Compound, which is right in the Khetwadi area of Girgaon. It’s a very busy part of the city, and the compound is usually full of activity. Being on the ground floor is a huge help because moving heavy metal tubes in and out would be a nightmare otherwise. The space is a bit tight, so we have to be really organized with how we stack everything. Khetwadi is known for being a hub for this kind of work, so we are surrounded by other businesses doing similar things. We’ve been here for many years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our day-to-day is mostly talking to walk-in customers and managing the small inventory we keep in the shop. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and measuring tubes. We don't have a website or any fancy advertisements. Most of our business comes from people who just know we are here in the compound. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the orders that come through. Sometimes the traffic in Girgaon makes it hard for the supply trucks to reach us on time, but we just manage as it happens. It’s a real, boots-on-the-ground kind of business where we just do the work and go home.
