Metal Trim

Metal Trim operates out of the Steel Made Compound, specifically in 1-4 Tankiwala Indl Estate along Marol Maroshi Road. Being in Andheri East means it is always loud and there is always something moving. The industrial estate is a busy place with trucks coming in and out and the sound of machines in the background. Our spot in the compound is pretty straightforward. It is a work space through and through. You won't find any plush carpets or fancy art here. It’s mostly concrete floors and metal shelves filled with whatever we are working on at the moment. The air usually smells a bit like oil or metal, which is fine by us. We’ve been here at Marol Maroshi Road long enough to know the shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic, though it's still a struggle some days. Inside 1-4 Tankiwala, we have our routine. We start early, usually before the sun gets too hot, and we stay until the day's tasks are finished. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of inventory. We have a small crew that knows how to handle the equipment without needing a handbook every five minutes. It is a gritty, honest kind of environment. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy offices because that is not what we are about. We are just about the work that happens right here in the compound.
