Metal Power

Metal Power is just a small place here at 1/7, Santosh Chawl in Mumbai. Most people find us by looking for the chawl area near Maharashtra 400078. I started this because I knew a bit about metal and how things get built around here. It is usually quite loud with the machines running all day long. My brother helps out sometimes too. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a couple of desks and a lot of metal scraps and tools lying around the floor. Sometimes the rain gets pretty heavy in this part of Mumbai and we have to move stuff away from the door. It's just a normal job for us. We spend most of the morning sorting through orders and then getting to work on whatever needs doing. It gets dusty, but that is how it goes. People walk by and wave. I've been in this spot for a while now. The address is simple, and the work is too. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing things down unless we have to. It's mostly just hands-on stuff. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the chawl. Nothing fancy, just us working away. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the materials but we make it work somehow. Some days are busier than others, especially when the big orders come in. We just keep our heads down and get on with it.
