Metal King

Metal King is located at Shop No. 4 in the Panwala Building, right there on Sant Sena Maharaj Marg. People around here usually call it 2nd Kumbharwada. It’s in the heart of Kalbadevi Road, which is one of the most crowded places you can imagine. If you’ve ever been here, you know how narrow the lanes are and how many people are moving about. Our shop is small, but we try to make the most of every inch of space. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling filled with metal components and small parts. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. We have been in the Panwala Building for a long time. The building itself has a lot of history, and you can see it in the walls and the old wooden doors. We don't do much advertising. Most of our business comes from people walking by or folks who have known us for decades. We deal with metal retail, mostly small items that the local craftsmen need for their work. It gets very hot in the shop during the afternoons, so we keep a fan going constantly, but it doesn't do much. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Mumbai. We just want to keep the shelves stocked and help people see if we have the parts they need.
