Metal-Inox

If you know the 3rd Kumbharwada Lane, you know it’s a tight squeeze. We are at Room No. 9, and it’s been our home for Metal-Inox for quite some time. This whole area is full of metal shops, and we fit right in with our stacks of stainless steel. It’s a small space, so we have to be very organized, or you won’t even be able to find the door. We deal mostly in inox materials, and people from all over come to this lane because they know they can find what they need. It’s a noisy place with the sound of cutting and hammering echoing off the walls of the buildings. We don't have a big showroom or anything like that. You just walk in, tell us what you’re looking for, and we see if we have it in the back. Sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble to get everything sorted, especially when a big order comes in and the lane is blocked by a cart. But that’s just how business is done here. We have a couple of guys who have been helping out for years, and we all just know the routine. It’s not a polished lifestyle, and your clothes are going to get dirty, but it’s a good business. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, one day at a time, in the middle of all the chaos.
