Metal Hub India

Metal Hub India is tucked away in the Lakdawala Building at 4th Kumbharwada. If you’ve ever been to Girgaon, you know how packed those streets are. We are right near the old Alankar Cinema. It’s a landmark everyone knows. The building itself is old, with those narrow stairs and heavy doors. Our plot is 21/27. Inside, it’s mostly metal parts and samples. It smells like iron and oil, which is just what we’re used to. It’s a noisy neighborhood with all the workshops nearby. You can hear hammers and machines going from morning until night. We don't have a big reception area or coffee machines for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by, they just stand by the counter and we talk. We’ve got a lot of history in this spot. My grandfather worked in this same area years ago. We know the other shop owners on the street. If we don’t have something, we usually know who does. It’s a tight-knit community of metal workers. The traffic on the main road is always a mess, so we try to get our deliveries out early before the city really wakes up. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy crates around and checking the sizes of the pipes. We just do our bit every day and head home when the shutters go down.
