Metal Deal

Metal Deal is located at 214 Sant Tukaram Road, right across from Bar Sandhut Road. This area is very industrial and there are always trucks carrying heavy loads passing by. Our shop is full of different kinds of metal, from iron rods to steel sheets and other scrap. It’s a loud place because of the metal hitting the ground and the weighing scales being used all the time. We spend our days checking the weight of materials and helping customers find what they need for their projects. The air always has a bit of a metallic smell and our clothes usually end up with some rust or dust on them. It’s not a clean job, but we’ve been doing it here on Sant Tukaram Road for a long time. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We just have our space where we store the stock and a small desk for the bills. Dealing with metal means you have to be careful with your hands and always keep an eye on the cranes or loaders. We know the other dealers and the truck drivers who come through this part of the city. It’s a steady kind of work, very basic and practical. We just focus on getting the right metal out to the people who need it for building or manufacturing. It’s what we know best and we stay busy with it every day.
