You can find Mehta Metal Corporation at 5, Varsha, tucked away in 2nd Khetwadi Lane. We’re pretty close to Alankar Cinema, which most people in this part of town know well. Khetwadi is a crowded place, and our street is no exception. It’s always full of people, handcarts, and delivery bikes trying to squeeze past each other. Our office is small and usually filled with the smell of old paper and the sound of the fans spinning overhead. We’ve been dealing in metals from this spot for a long time. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we don't have any interest in moving to a big modern building. We like it here. People drop in to talk about orders or just to see what the market is doing today. We handle a lot of different kinds of metal, and the shelves are usually overflowing with bits and pieces. It’s not very organized to an outsider’s eye, but we know where everything is. We don't do big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth has always been enough for us over the years. Sometimes the narrow lane makes it hard for big trucks to get in, so we have to do a lot of heavy lifting by hand. It’s hard work, and the days are long, but we’re used to it. We just keep our heads down and work.
