Medhekar Foods & Beverage Industries

You can find us at 501, Birya House, which is right in the Fort area of Mumbai. We are very close to the old Reserve Bank of India building, so there is always a lot of history and a lot of people walking around outside. Being in South Mumbai means things are always moving fast. Medhekar Foods & Beverage Industries has been tucked away in this building for some time. The office has those high ceilings you see in older Mumbai constructions, and the windows look out over the busy street below. It gets quite noisy with the horns and the general bustle of the city, but you get used to it after a week. We mostly spend our time on the phone or handling the logistics of moving food and drinks around. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes in these old buildings, but it has a lot of character. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything. It's just a place where we come to work and get things sorted. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the local stalls nearby. We have a lot of regulars who we deal with, and they know where to find us. The elevator in Birya House is a bit slow, but it eventually gets you where you need to go. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks. It is a grind, but the views of the old architecture make it worth it.
