Hal Impex

Hal Impex is based in Mazgaon, specifically at No. 44 Nesbit Road. We are in the Aquagem Tower, specifically in room 2/501 of the Degamwala Building. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history, and you can feel that when you walk through the halls. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a workspace where we manage our import and export deals. We have desks cluttered with documents and calculators. It’s a bit of a maze getting to our unit sometimes if you aren’t used to the building layout. Mazgaon is a busy area with a lot of trade happening, so we fit right in. We don’t use any fancy software for everything; a lot of our notes are still hand-written in registers. It feels more real that way. We spend our days coordinating between suppliers and buyers, making sure the logistics don't fall apart. It’s a lot of pressure, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we know how to handle the stress. We don’t have a big team, so everyone does a bit of everything. One minute you’re answering the phone, and the next you’re checking a manifest. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s our life. We just stay focused on the tasks and try to keep things moving from this little corner of Mazgaon. It is just a regular office doing regular work.
