Hafiz Impex

Hafiz Impex is based over at 301/b in the Jasmine Apartments on Dockyard Road. Being in Mazgaon puts us pretty close to the docks, which makes sense for what we do every day. The office is inside a residential building, so it feels more like a home than a stiff corporate environment. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. The street outside is usually full of activity because of the location. Inside, we just focus on the importing and exporting side of things. It is mostly just us sitting at desks, making calls, and keeping track of where everything is supposed to be. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the traffic from Dockyard Road, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. People usually find us through word of mouth or if they already know the building. We handle a variety of items and try to keep the process as simple as possible. Dealing with customs and shipping lines takes up most of our morning. By the afternoon, we are usually just catching up on emails. It's a steady pace. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job right and go home at the end of the day. That is how we have always run Hafiz Impex.
