Max Steels

Max Steels is up on the 2nd Floor of Keshav Bhavan. Our address is 32/34 Bhandari Street in Asha Nagar, right off the W E Highway. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve been here for a long time. The office is small and usually has blueprints or order sheets spread out across the tables. Because we are near the highway, you can always hear the traffic moving. Downstairs on Bhandari Street, it’s always busy with people moving goods and handcarts. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to the yards and checking on steel prices. It’s not the kind of place with air conditioning or plush carpets. We just have some old fans and sturdy wooden desks. Sometimes we go down to the street to check the loads ourselves. The building is quite old and the hallways are narrow. We know all the other businesses in the building, like the wholesalers and the small accountants. It’s a tight-knit community here in Asha Nagar. We don't have a big website or a social media page. We just do our work and talk to our regular buyers. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s when we take a small break. It’s a lot of numbers and weights to keep track of, but we’re used to it by now.
