Mascot Steel Centre

Our shop is at 9/14 on 2nd Pathan Street, which is right in the heart of Kumbharwada 5th Lane. This is one of those areas where the sun barely hits the ground because the buildings are so close together. It is a real hub for metal and steel, and the sound of hammers and grinders is the soundtrack to our lives. We have a small space, but we pack it full of whatever steel we can get our hands on. It is not a fancy showroom. You will find piles of metal everywhere and the smell of industrial oil is always in the air. We don't have much in the way of staff, just a couple of guys who know how to handle the heavy lifting. We spend most of our time answering the phone or dealing with the people who walk in off the street. It gets chaotic, especially when the delivery trucks try to navigate the lane, and everyone has to move their stuff to let them through. We have been part of this community for a long time, and we know our neighbors well. We share snacks and complain about the heat together. We just focus on keeping our stock levels right and making sure we don't lose track of the orders in all the clutter. It is a busy, messy, and very real way to spend a day.
