Marwadi Brothers

We’ve been here at number 77 on Ismail Curtay Road for a long time now. It’s right near the Pythonie Police Station, so things stay pretty orderly around this part of Masjid Bunder, even when the traffic gets heavy. Most mornings start with the sound of shutters opening up and down the street. We get a lot of people walking by heading toward the station or just moving through the market area. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always something happening right outside the door. My brother and I handle most of the daily work ourselves. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that, just the space here where we keep our things and talk to whoever comes in. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock arriving, but we make it work. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really had the time to get around to it yet. You get used to the noise of the bikes and the local vendors shouting. It’s just how life is in this part of town. We know the neighbors pretty well and we usually share a tea in the afternoon when things quiet down a little bit. It’s not a complicated setup, just a straightforward place where we do our business every day from morning until the sun goes down. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but our spot stays mostly the same.
