Mark Industries

Mark Industries is located right at Marine Lines 18. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around here. We’ve been operating out of this space for a long time. It isn't a huge factory or anything, just a solid place where we get our daily tasks finished. Most mornings start with a lot of noise as we get the machines going. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what they’re supposed to do without being told twice. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the day is spent on our feet. The floors are a bit scuffed up and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it works for us. We handle the manufacturing side of things. It’s practical work. Sometimes the deliveries show up late and we have to scramble, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't have a receptionist, so if you come by, you might have to shout to get someone's attention over the machinery. We’ve stayed in Marine Lines because it’s central and we’re used to the rhythm of the street outside. It’s a decent place to work. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down.
