Mohit Impex

Mohit Impex is located near Dhobhi Talao, right in the middle of the area between Mumbai CST and Marine Lines. It’s an older part of the city with a lot of character. Our office is in a building that has seen many years go by. We do import and export work here. It’s a lot of coordinating between different parties. The space we have is simple. We have some heavy wooden desks and old filing cabinets that are a bit rusty. We don’t really go in for modern office furniture. Most of our day is spent tracking containers and talking to customs brokers. It can get quite loud outside with the traffic and the general buzz of the city. We have high ceilings which helps keep the place a bit cooler in the summer months. There is always a layer of dust that seems to settle on everything no matter how much we clean, but that’s just part of being in this location. We usually take a break in the afternoon for some snacks from the vendors nearby. Our work isn't glamorous. It involves a lot of checking and re-checking documents to make sure everything is in order. We have a small crew and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or helping to move some boxes. It’s a steady routine that we’ve followed for a long time now. We just focus on getting the job done properly every day.
