Mardia Steel

Mardia Steel is located at 204 Kumbharwada on Judges Bunglow Road. We’re right near the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway in the Bodakdev area. It’s a place where there is always the sound of metal clanging. Our warehouse is full of different steel pieces, rods, and sheets. It’s dusty work and our clothes usually have some rust marks by the end of the shift. We spend our time measuring lengths and helping load the material onto the back of trailers. The highway is always buzzing with cars and trucks, so there’s a constant hum in the background. Our office is just a corner of the shed with a simple desk and a few chairs for visitors. We don't use much technology here, just some basic ledgers and a calculator. It gets very hot under the tin roof during the afternoon. We usually share a jug of cold water and keep going. People from construction sites nearby often drop in to check what we have in stock. We don't have a big sales team. It’s just us doing the heavy lifting and making sure the counts are correct. The road outside is often congested, which makes deliveries a bit slow sometimes. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a straightforward business and we’ve been at this spot for quite a long time.
