Marble Arch School

Finding us isn’t too hard if you know the Link Road Extension near Oshiwara. We are tucked away in the Mhada area, right by Shanrivan. It’s a busy part of Andheri West, so there’s always noise from the traffic and people going about their business. This school occupies a space that has seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. Tall buildings are packed together all around our boundary. We have a gate that stays shut during class hours to keep the city bustle out. Inside, it’s just normal school life. Hallways are narrow, and you can hear the teachers talking from one room to the next. A small area serves as the place where the children gather for assembly. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we manage with the fans going full speed. Most of our students live nearby in the residential blocks. You see them walking in groups with their heavy bags every morning. Having a massive field for sports isn't an option here, but we make do with what we have. It’s a practical setup for an urban school. The staff room is always full of notebooks and half-finished tea cups. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a place where kids from the locality come to study and grow up. Life here is fast like the rest of Mumbai, but inside these walls, we try to slow things down.
