Manjit Travels & Cool Cab

We operate out of Powai Sakinaka, specifically over in Shree Ganesh Nagar near IIT Panchkuti. Manjit Travels & Cool Cab is basically me and a few drivers keeping the cars running and the schedules straight. It’s a busy area because of the college and all the tech offices nearby. Our office isn't much to look at. It’s just a place to sit, take calls, and keep the car keys. Most of my day is spent on the phone or checking the engines. The traffic around Powai can be a real headache, so we’re always planning the best routes. We don't have any big signs or a glossy lobby. It’s a grassroots kind of operation. The drivers stop by to get their assignments or just to have a cup of tea before heading back out on the road. We use the local landmarks like the IIT gate to help people find us. It’s dusty work keeping the cabs clean with all the construction happening around Sakinaka. We just try to get people where they need to go without too much fuss. Sometimes the heavy rain makes everything slow down, and we just have to wait it out. It's a local business, run by local people who know these roads better than anyone. We’ve been around this neighborhood for a long time and we’ve seen it grow. We’re just part of the daily commute for a lot of folks around here.
