Mangalam Hardware Store

Mangalam Hardware Store is located in Shop 1/1 of the Kiran Building. We are in Andheri East, right across the street from Sona Udyog. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and movement outside. Inside the shop, we have shelves stacked high with all the things you’d expect. Nails, hammers, different kinds of pipes, and paint cans. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because we try to keep everything people might ask for. I’ve been running this place for years, and I can usually tell you exactly where a specific bolt is without looking too hard. We get a lot of workers coming in early before their shift starts. They need supplies for the day, so we try to get them sorted out quickly. It’s not a fancy store with air conditioning. It’s just a regular hardware shop where things are a bit dusty and the floor is worn down from people walking in and out. We don’t do any big advertising. People just know we are here. If you are doing some repairs at home or working on a bigger site, we probably have what you need. It’s a basic business. We open up, sell what’s on the shelves, and help the customers the best we can. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Andheri. It's a simple life but it's ours.
