You can find us in the Vile-Parle East area of Mumbai, specifically in Ambewadi. Our small workshop is located in the A.P. D’Souza Chawl on N.C. Chagala Road. This is a very busy part of the city, and space is always tight. We’ve been working with metal here for a long time. It’s a noisy business with the sound of machines and tools going all day long, but that’s just the way it is in a place like this. The neighbors are all used to the hustle and bustle by now. We don't have a fancy office or a lobby for people to wait in. You just walk into the workshop and you’ll see us busy with whatever order we’re working on. Our pin code is 400 099, which is right in the heart of the suburbs. It gets very hot in the summers, especially with the metalwork going on, but we have some fans and we make it through. Most of our guys have been with us for years and they know the trade inside out. We don't use any high-tech systems to manage things; we just use our experience and a few simple notebooks. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We take pride in just getting the work done and making sure it’s what the customer asked for. There’s no big talk here, just hard work and a lot of sweat every single day.
