Finding us can be a bit tricky if you are not used to the area. Manek Metal India Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away at 262, K-1, inside the Mehta Estate on Thakurdwar Main Road. It is a crowded spot with lots of other businesses squeezed in together. We mostly deal with metal goods, so there is always the clanging of heavy items and the smell of industrial work in the air. The space is a bit cramped because we have to fit all the stock and the equipment in one place. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make room for new shipments coming in. The light isn't great inside, but we know where everything is kept. Outside on the main road, the traffic is always moving, and you can hear the horns honking all day long. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a long time, and we mostly just focus on getting the daily tasks done. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. We don't really do much in the way of decorating the office; it is strictly for work. Most of our visitors are truck drivers or local traders who have been coming to Mehta Estate for years. It is a busy, sweaty environment, but it is where we have always been, and we are used to the pace of life in Thakurdwar.
