Manan Prakashan (Deepa Art)

Manan Prakashan is our small operation. Some people also know us as Deepa Art. We don't really have a physical shop that people walk into every day. Our main way of doing things and staying in touch is through our email, which is kdakshtayahoo.com. We do a lot of publishing and art-related projects. It’s a small group of us here. We spend most of our time reviewing manuscripts or looking at art layouts on our screens. It's a lot of staring at pixels and trying to make sure the fonts look right. We don't have a big staff. It's just a few of us who handle everything from the initial ideas to the final proofs. We don't have a fancy office with a big sign. Most of our work is done from a home setup or a small quiet space. We don't do much in the way of selling ourselves. We just focus on the books and the art pieces. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when we have a lot of projects due at the same time. The email inbox is always full of questions. We try to get back to everyone as soon as we can. It’s a very personal way of running things. We like the fact that we can just focus on the work without all the corporate noise. We just keep making things and sending them out.
