You can find us at Akhil Sundaram, right across from the telephone exchange in Kandivali West. We are on the fourth floor in room 403. It's a busy part of town, and the street outside is always full of people and cars. The office itself is quite functional. We have our desks set up for the staff to handle the various tax and audit tasks that come our way. We don’t spend much on flashy furniture because we are mostly focused on the work on our screens. There is a lot of paperwork involved in being a CA firm, and our shelves reflect that. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in files, but we manage to keep things in order. The lift in the building is a bit slow, so we often just wait and chat while it makes its way up. Being near the telephone exchange makes it easy for people to find us. We don’t use any complicated business speak here. We just explain things to our clients in plain terms and get the filings done. Lunch is usually a quick affair so we can get back to the ledgers. The monsoon season makes the commute to Kandivali a bit of a hassle, but the work doesn’t stop. We are just a local team of accountants trying to do a thorough job every day. It’s a simple operation, and we like it that way. We just keep our focus on the balance sheets.
