Mallinath Metal

Mallinath Metal operates out of Sanghvi Sadan at 21/3 Khetwadi, right near the World Trade Centre area. Khetwadi is a busy, crowded place where everyone is trying to get somewhere, and our spot is right in the middle of that daily rush. We deal with metal every day, so the office and storage area are pretty rugged and plain. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit or expensive shoes. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around on a regular basis. We’ve been based in Sanghvi Sadan for a long time now. The building is older and has its quirks, like the slow elevator and the narrow hallways that always seem a bit dark, but it’s home to us. We don’t spend time on mission statements or trying to look like some big corporate entity. Our focus is just on the metal and making sure the counts are right for every delivery. It gets noisy with the sound of the streets and the metal clanging against the floor, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to understand what needs to be done. We just get on with it. It’s a straightforward, honest business, and we’re happy to be part of the Khetwadi fabric, even if it’s a bit dusty and loud most of the time.
