Scrap Vendor

If you know the Pavte Ground in Malad East, then you know where we are. Scrap Vendor is right there by the Subhash Lane Circle. We deal with all sorts of old materials. People bring in metal, old pipes, and things they don't want anymore. The office isn't much to look at. It's just Office No. 1. We spend most of our time outside sorting through things and moving piles. It is dirty work, but someone has to do it. Malad East is a busy spot. There are always people walking by the circle and looking at what we have. We weigh things and figure out what can be reused. It's a lot of manual labor. My clothes usually have some grease or dust on them by noon. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just talk to the locals and the guys who drive the trucks. The weather affects us a lot. When it rains, everything gets heavy and messy in the yard. But we stay open. We’ve seen all kinds of junk over the years. Some of it is actually interesting. Most of it is just scrap that needs to be recycled. We just keep the piles moving. It's a simple business. We don't use big words here. We just buy the scrap and sell it to the bigger plants. It’s what we’ve always done. We are just regular people making a living.
