Makhria Metal Industries has its workshop on Haji Bapu Road in Malad East. If you are looking for us, you will probably hear the sound of metal being cut before you see the door. We have been in this spot for many years, and the walls are a bit stained with oil and dust, but that is expected in this line of work. We deal with all kinds of metal fabrication and parts. Our floor is usually cluttered with offcuts and various tools that we use daily. We are a small team of workers who have mostly grown up in this area. We do not have a fancy front office or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, you just walk in and find someone at a machine. We take orders from local businesses and some bigger factories too. Sometimes we are making simple brackets, and other times it is more complicated pieces that take a few days of steady work. The heat in Malad can be quite something during the summer, especially with the machines running, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. We do not use any big marketing talk; we just show people the work we have done before. Most of our orders come from people who have been dealing with us for a long decade or more. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the metal is solid. It is noisy and dirty work, but it is what we know.
