Mahindra Mistry Associates

Mahindra Mistry Associates is over in Malad West, right near the 2nd Main on the way to Nadiadwala Colony. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here with all the shops and people moving about. Our office is at 1117 Viral, and it’s a pretty simple place to be honest. We’ve got stacks of drawings everywhere and the smell of old paper is just part of the furniture now. The neighborhood is always noisy, which I guess keeps us awake during those long afternoons when we’re stuck behind the computer screens. There is a small tea stall right around the corner where we usually take our breaks when the office gets too cramped. Mahindra usually has his head buried in some structural plan or another while the rest of us handle the site visits and the mundane paperwork that comes with this job. It is not some high-end studio with glass walls and expensive rugs. It is just a workspace where we try to figure out how to make buildings work for the people who actually have to live in them. Sometimes the printer breaks down right when a client is waiting, and we just have to laugh it off and fix it. That’s just how things go in Malad. We’ve been here for a good bit now and the locals know where to find us if they need a plan drawn up.
