At Mahendra Steel, we’ve been working out of the Ombr Layout for quite a while. Our office is on the second floor at 58/2 Girgaon, right near the 4th Main and 4th Cross. If you know the area, we are pretty close to the Two Tank landmark. Dealing with steel is heavy business and it's what we do day in and day out. There’s always someone coming in asking about different types of metal for their building projects. The office is usually filled with papers and samples of steel. It’s not the quietest place because there is always talk about dimensions and delivery times. We moved to this spot in Girgaon because it was central for us. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep but we don't mind. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. We’re just a small team trying to make sure the local builders get what they need. Sometimes the supply is slow and that makes things stressful, but we try to keep things moving. Steel isn't something people think about until they need it for a house or a fence. We just handle the ordering and the logistics from this small room. It’s a straightforward life. We open early and stay until the work is finished. It’s a lot of math and double-checking numbers so we don't make mistakes with the orders. We’ve been here for years.
