Mahashree Travels

You can find Mahashree Travels over at 72/1 Ghatkopar East, right on the 26th Main Road at Kirsten Kung. It is a hectic spot to have a travel business because the traffic outside is almost constant. Most of our day is spent on the phones, talking to drivers and trying to figure out why a car is stuck in traffic or where a passenger is waiting. Kirsten Kung is a familiar building in the neighborhood, and we have been in this office for quite some time now. The desks are covered in maps and old schedules, and the walls have a few calendars that are probably out of date. We handle all sorts of bookings, from quick local trips to longer journeys out of the city. It is not an easy job because things are always changing at the last minute. A driver might call in sick or a car might break down, and then we are scrambling to fix it. We don't have a big corporate setup, just a few of us working together to keep the vehicles moving. Ghatkopar East is a busy area, so there is always someone popping in to ask about rates or routes. We don't use any big fancy slogans. We just try to get the cars to the right place at the right time. It’s a lot of coordination and a lot of tea to stay awake.
