Mahadev Amre

Our spot is located at 41275 Kanjurmarg East, right in the Bhairav Nagar area. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s a good neighborhood to be in. Mahadev Amre is the name we go by. It’s a quiet place for the most part, though you can hear the kids playing outside in the afternoons. The office is pretty small, just enough space for us to get the daily work finished. We don’t have a lot of fancy furniture or decorations on the walls. Mostly it’s just calendars and some old files. The light in the back room flickers sometimes, and we keep saying we’ll fix it, but we never do. It’s funny how you get used to things like that. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who drop by. It isn't a high-pressure environment. We just wake up, come to Bhairav Nagar, and see what the day brings. Kanjurmarg East has changed a lot with all the new buildings, but this corner feels the same. We like the consistency of it. There’s a tea stall just down the road that we visit twice a day. The work is steady and it keeps us occupied. We aren't trying to be the biggest or anything like that. We just want to do our job and go home to our families. It’s a honest way to live and we don't complain much about it.
