We are located at 120, Shanta Industrial Estate, which sits right on I.B. Patel Road. It’s a busy industrial stretch and there is always a lot of movement outside with trucks loading and unloading. We operate both Madhuram Fabrics and F.I.T Industrial from this same spot. The ground floor is mostly for the fabric storage and the bigger equipment, while we have some office space tucked into the back. It’s quite a packed area because we have a lot of stock coming in and going out. The smell of textiles is pretty much part of the office now. We’ve been in Shanta Industrial Estate for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit, but it’s sturdy. The work is mostly manual when it comes to the fabrics, checking rolls and organizing shipments. We don’t have a fancy showroom, so if people come by, they usually just see us in the middle of working. It’s a bit chaotic during the peak season when orders are flying in. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. The road outside is always dusty, and the traffic at the end of the day is a bit of a mess. It’s just a normal, hardworking environment where we focus on the task at hand. No one here wears a suit; we just wear what’s comfortable for moving around. The local snack shop delivers tea to us twice a day, which is nice.
