You can find us at A/3 on SVP Road. We’ve been operating out of this small space for quite a long time. Dealing with steel is heavy work and it’s definitely not for everyone. The yard is usually full of stacks of metal that we move around all day. It’s a bit cramped, especially when a big delivery comes in and we have to find a spot for everything. We don’t have a big sales team or a polished showroom. It’s just us and the steel. Usually, the phone is ringing or someone is stopping by to ask about prices. We try to keep things organized but with the amount of material coming through, it gets messy fast. The floor is scratched up and there is always a bit of rust in the air. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on SVP Road, but we are still here doing the same thing every day. Some of the guys have been with us since the beginning. We don’t really do much advertising. Most people who come here have heard about us from someone else in the trade. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the loads out on time and making sure the counts are right before the trucks leave the gate. It’s tiring work but it’s what we know. The coffee machine broke last week so it's been a bit rough.
