Ma Chamunda Steel Centre

We run Ma Chamunda Steel Centre right on Vikhroli East Station Road, inside Laxmi Estate, Tago. It is a busy spot because the station is so close. We have been here for a while now, surrounded by all kinds of steel utensils and household items. When you walk in, you will see stacks of plates, glasses, and heavy pots everywhere. It can get pretty noisy when we move things around or when customers are testing the weight of a pan. The light bounces off all the shiny metal surfaces, which makes the place look brighter than it actually is. We deal with people coming from work who just want to grab a quick tiffin box or a new cooker before catching their train. The space is a bit tight, especially when we get new crates delivered from the factory. We spend a lot of time dusting the shelves because the road outside is always busy with traffic. It is a straightforward business. We don't have fancy displays or polished sales talk. We just show what we have and tell the price. Sometimes people bargain a bit, and we see what can be done. It is just me and a couple of guys helping out with the heavy lifting. We keep track of everything in a thick register. It is a regular life here in Vikhroli. We are just here doing our bit, making sure people get their kitchen stuff without any fuss or bother.
