M R Steel Traders is over in Goregaon East. Specifically, you can find us at 41495 Erandawane Gaothan, Maulana Kasam Wadi. We are right opposite the Durian Estate. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but it works for what we do. We deal with a lot of steel, so the yard is usually full of metal beams and sheets. It’s heavy work and it gets quite hot in the afternoons. There is always the sound of metal clanging against metal when we are loading or unloading the trucks. The Maulana Kasam Wadi area is quite industrial and busy. We don’t have a fancy office building, just a workspace where we keep our records and meet people who need steel. It’s a bit messy with scraps and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. The trucks coming in from Goregaon East can sometimes block the road for a minute, so we have to be quick. We spend our days measuring things and checking the weight of the steel. It’s a simple business. We don't do much advertising. People usually find us because they are working on a building nearby or someone told them about us. It’s hard work and your clothes get dirty pretty fast here. We just try to keep the supply moving for whoever needs it. It’s just us doing our thing in this corner of the city.
