Our office is located at C/1001 in the Palmspring building on Link Road. Malad West is a busy area, and being up on the tenth floor gives us a bit of a view, though we are usually too busy looking at spreadsheets to notice it. At M. M. Modani & Co., we deal with all the typical accounting and tax work that comes our way. The Link Road traffic is something we deal with every day, and it can be quite a mess during rush hour. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of keyboards clicking and the occasional phone call. We have a lot of folders and binders stacked up on the shelves. It’s a standard workspace with people who have been doing this for years. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just come in, do the audits, check the tax returns, and go home. Sometimes we stay late when the deadlines get close, which is just part of the profession. The building is fairly modern, but our office feels lived-in and practical. We know our way around the local laws and regulations, and we just apply that to the papers on our desks. It’s a steady kind of life. We see the same faces in the elevator every day and share a bit of small talk before getting back to our ledgers and calculators. It works for us and keeps us busy.
