Lykis Packaging Pvt.Ltd. is based over at 4 Granduer Bldg on Veera Desai Road. It’s a busy part of town and we’ve seen a lot of changes on this street over the years. The building itself is one of those places where everyone kind of knows each other. We are at number 4, and the windows look out onto the main road where the traffic never really stops. Sometimes the elevator is slow so we just take the stairs. It’s not a fancy place, but it works for what we do. People come in and out all day. Most mornings start with getting the shutters up and checking if the mail arrived. Veera Desai Road has a lot of energy, especially in the afternoons when the local food stalls get going. We’ve been here a while now. You get used to the noise of the cars and the people shouting. Our space in Granduer Bldg is where we spend most of our lives, really. It’s got that specific smell of old desks and cooling fans. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. Just some desks and the usual stuff we need to get things done. It’s a practical setup. When the sun hits the building in the evening, it gets pretty warm inside. We just open a window and keep at it. That’s just how things go here. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't.
