Idbi Bank Ltd.(Corporate Office)

Our office is tucked away at A/4 Sarvodaya Nagar right on Panjarapole Road. It’s the kind of place where you know the security guard by his first name and you can tell what time it is just by looking at the traffic flow outside the window. This is the corporate office for Idbi Bank Ltd. and it is mostly just a lot of desks, computers, and stacks of files that seem to grow when no one is looking. We spend our mornings going through emails and making sure the numbers line up for the different branches we handle. It isn't a flashy place with marble floors or fancy art. It feels like a real office where people actually work. Sometimes the elevator takes a bit too long so we just take the stairs instead. During the monsoon, the rain really drums on the roof and makes it hard to hear the phone calls. We usually order tea from the guy around the corner twice a day. It’s hot and sweet, exactly what you need when the afternoon slump hits. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and delivery bikes, but inside we just keep our heads down and get through the tasks. Most of us have been working here for years now so it feels more like a second home than just a building. We just keep things moving behind the scenes so the bank stays on track for everyone else.
