We are based out of Plot No. 111 in Aram Nagar 2. It’s in the Versova area of Andheri West. Aram Nagar is a bit of a unique place because it’s full of these old cottage-style buildings that people have turned into offices. It’s not like the high-rise buildings you see in other parts of Mumbai. We like the vibe here, even if the lanes are a bit confusing for people visiting for the first time. M.N. Trading is a small operation where we handle our daily trading business. We have a few rooms where we keep our files and computers. It’s a bit crowded with all the paperwork we have to keep track of, but we know where everything is. The area is usually pretty lively with people from the nearby creative offices walking around. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a lobby. Most of our work happens over the phone or through emails, so the office is just our base of operations. Sometimes we have cats from the neighborhood wandering into the yard, which is just part of being in Versova. We try to keep things simple and avoid all the corporate jargon that seems to be everywhere these days. We just focus on our trades and making sure our records are up to date. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve settled in quite well. We often walk down to the beach after we close up for the day just to clear our heads from all the noise.
