Lp (India) Logistics has its office at Raheja Centre in Nariman Point. Being in 1002-214, we are high up in one of Mumbai’s most famous business districts. You can see the city stretching out and sometimes get a glimpse of the sea on a clear day. Raheja Centre is a busy building with a lot of different companies, so the elevators are always full of people in a hurry. Our office is a bit more professional-looking than some, but it’s still a place for hard work. We have rows of desks and a small area for tea. It’s not a luxury office; it’s just a place where we manage logistics. The air conditioning is usually blasting because Nariman Point gets very hot. We spend our days on the phone or tracking shipments on our computers. It’s a lot of data and coordination. Even though we are in a fancy area, we keep things simple inside. There aren't any motivational posters on the walls. We just have maps and schedules. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the building like the back of our hand. We know which stalls downstairs have the best sandwiches for a quick lunch when things get busy. It’s a fast-paced environment, but we try to keep it friendly. We don't bother with corporate jargon. We just make sure the logistics side of things is running smoothly. It’s a solid place to work and we’ve been part of the Nariman Point crowd for a while.
