Lovely Collections

If you look for us, we are right at Satyam Matching Center, which is directly opposite Friendship Saree in Mograpada. The address is on New Nagadass Road in Santacruz West. It is one of those streets that stays pretty crowded from morning until night. At Lovely Collections, we spend the bulk of our day dealing with fabrics and different pieces of clothing that need matching. The shop is full of colors, and sometimes it feels like the piles of cloth might just tip over if we aren't careful. We have been in this part of Santacruz for a good while. The neighbors at the saree shop are nice enough, and we often share a quick word across the road when things are quiet. It’s a very local feel here. You can hear the rickshaws honking and people haggling outside all day long. We have a small counter where we do all the measuring and cutting. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. The floor is made of old tile and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving. We just try to keep up with the orders and make sure the colors are right for everyone who comes in. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the narrow roads around Mograpada, but we manage to get things done. We usually have a few rolls of thread sitting out on the counter that need sorting by the end of the day.
