Live India News Channel is run by a small group of us and we use asmamuzammilali@yahoo.com as our main point of contact. We don't have a massive television studio with hundreds of lights and cameras. Instead, we work in a more independent way, gathering news and reporting on things that matter to real people. It is a lot of hard work because news never stops happening at any hour. We spend our time checking facts and talking to people on the ground to see what is really going on. Sometimes we are out in the street with a handheld camera and other times we are just at our desks writing up stories. It is a busy life and our email is always full of tips and messages from viewers. We try to keep things simple and honest. There is no big corporate board telling us what to say. We just look at the events and try to explain them in a way that makes sense. It is a bit of a scramble sometimes to get a story out quickly but we enjoy the pace. We aren't a giant network but we care about the work we do. If someone has a story, they usually just send us an email and we take it from there. It is a modern way of doing news that stays close to the people.
