My business is called Lewis. I don't have a big office building with a sign out front. Instead, I operate mostly through my email, which is listed in the address section. It’s a bit of a one-person show or a small group, depending on what we have going on. I’ve found that I can get everything done just fine without the cost of a physical office in a city. I handle various tasks and projects from wherever I happen to be. It’s a very direct way of working. I don't have any staff to answer the phones or a lobby for people to wait in. If someone needs something, they just send an email and I get back to them when I can. It’s not polished or corporate, it’s just me doing my work. I’ve been using this approach for a while because it keeps things simple. I don't have to worry about rent or utility bills for a workspace I barely use. My days are spent looking at my screen and handling the requests that come in. It’s a bit of an unconventional way to list an address, but it’s the most honest one for how I actually run things. I just keep it quiet and stay focused on the tasks I have on my plate. It works for me and it keeps things moving without any unnecessary stress. I respond as quickly as I can to messages, and that seems to be enough for most people.
